FTA1930 (MarkIII+)

The Firetrol FTA1930 MarkIII+ Fire Pump Controller is a solid-state reduced current starting fire pump controller designed to control and protect motor-driven fire pumps used in fire protection systems. The controller automatically starts the fire pump when a drop in system pressure is detected and ensures reliable operation during fire emergencies.

The controller operates using the Mark III+ microprocessor platform and features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen interface that allows operators to monitor system pressure, electrical parameters, alarms, and controller diagnostics in real time. It also provides event logging, automated testing functions, and communication capabilities for integration with building management systems.

The FTA1930 utilizes a digital solid-state soft starter with bypass, providing reduced current motor starting and smoother acceleration. This starting method helps minimize electrical inrush current, reduce mechanical stress on the pump system, and limit water hammer in the piping system during startup.

Built with heavy-duty industrial components and designed to meet major fire protection standards, the controller is widely used in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and large fire pump installations requiring controlled motor starting and improved system performance.
