Amada VM Series Vertical Band Saw

The Amada VM Series Vertical Band Saw is built for cutting large solid blocks, dies, mold materials, and billets that horizontal saws cannot accommodate. The vertical blade orientation allows for contour cutting, straight cutting, and profile cutting of large irregular shapes with high precision. The rigid cast iron frame and precision guide system maintain blade alignment for accurate cuts even on the largest workpieces. Available in four sizes — VM-1200, VM2500, VM2500WT (wide table), and VM6500 — covering throat depths from 1,200mm to 6,500mm for workpieces ranging from medium to extremely large. Suitable for tool rooms, die shops, steel service centers, and heavy fabrication facilities requiring large-format cutting capability.
