The Pentair Aurora 3800 Series Single Stage End Suction Centrifugal Pump is a redesigned, industry-leading pump engineered to exceed U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) pump efficiency standards while delivering exceptional durability and quiet operation in demanding commercial and industrial liquid handling applications. Built on one of the sturdiest power frames in the industry, each pump features cast iron casings, 316 stainless steel impellers and shaft sleeves for superior corrosion resistance, and an internal self-flushing mechanical seal with carbon-against-ceramic faces for continuous lubrication and extended service life — eliminating the need for external lubricating lines and tubing. Available in two configurations: the Model 3801 close-coupled design for compact mechanical room installations, and the Model 3804 frame-mounted design for heavy-duty industrial and high-temperature applications. Both models feature casing feet with standard back pull-out design, allowing full servicing of the pump without disturbing suction and discharge pipelines — significantly reducing maintenance downtime and costs. Rated for capacities up to 4,200 GPM (954 m³/hr), total dynamic heads up to 520 feet (158 meters), and operating temperatures up to 300°F (149°C) at speeds of 1,475, 1,770, and 2,950 RPM. NSF 372 certified as standard, with NSF 50 and NSF 61 options available for potable water and aquatic facility applications.
